As a result of clear government advice given out on Monday evening, 16th March it has been made clear that churches are included within the category of organisation that should be avoided in order to reduce the spread of Covid-19. As a result of this we have taken the decision to suspend all church meetings until further notice. This includes all our ‘gateway’ activities, small groups and Sunday service.
Please be aware that this is not a decision taken lightly but only after careful prayer, consideration and consultation.
In order to keep us connected we are currently looking at providing an online Sunday morning facility that will include worship and a biblical message which we are hoping to set up for this coming Sunday. Please check back here for updates.
Through Bags of Food, a form of foodbank provision we run as a church, we are also looking to prepare for a time when we will probably need to deliver food supplies to those who are isolated. We will keep you informed of ways in which you can help with this service as well.
God bless you and thanks for your forbearance during these difficult times. Can I strongly encourage you to think with faith rather than fear and look for God-given opportunities to be a more ‘scattered’ church.
